Serene Communities and Asset Homes to Build Senior Living Projects Across Kerala
Serene Communities by Columbia Pacific, India’s leading senior living brand, has announced a strategic partnership with Asset Homes, Kerala’s award-winning real estate developer, to co-develop four senior living communities across the state. The collaboration marks a Rs.500 crore investment into purpose-built environments for vibrant, independent seniors.
The first project under this alliance — Serene Young @ Heart — was unveiled in Kochi today. Fully RERA-approved and scheduled for completion by early 2028, the development offers 211 residences across 1, 1.5, and 2 BHK formats, spread over 1.69 lakh sq. ft. Designed around wellness, connection, and graceful ageing, the project features 36+ amenities including a yoga hall, wellness centre, bistro, business lounge, and landscaped outdoor spaces.
Clinical oversight will be provided by KITES Senior Care, while preventive wellness technology is enabled through seniorshield. A strategic healthcare tie-up with Rajagiri Hospital ensures continuous medical access and emergency support — making Serene Young @ Heart one of the most comprehensive senior living offerings in India.
The partnership will also deliver projects in Kottayam, Trivandrum, and a waterfront ultra-luxury development in Kochi. With Kerala’s high life expectancy, strong health indices, and large NRI base, the state is positioned as a key growth market for Serene’s South India expansion.
“Kerala’s ageing population deserves environments built around care, comfort, and connection,” said Rajagopal G., Co-Founder and Group CEO of Serene Communities. “Our partnership with Asset Homes and Rajagiri Hospital sets a new benchmark for senior living in India.”
Sunil Kumar, Managing Director of Asset Homes, added, “This collaboration allows us to extend our commitment to quality housing into the senior living space — with thoughtful design, trusted care, and a deep sense of belonging.”
Serene Communities currently operates 10 senior living communities across India, managing over 1,700 homes and 2,400 seniors under care. With 13 ongoing projects and plans to reach 10,000 homes by 2030, the brand is redefining how India ages — with dignity, vibrancy, and purpose.
