Resident Manager

Position Summary
The Resident Manager is a live-in role and is the overall in-charge of resident and administrative functions at the community. This role is central to ensuring the comfort, safety, and happiness of all residents while maintaining efficient operations. This role demands strong leadership, operational acumen, and a deep commitment to resident welfare and service excellence. The Resident Manager acts as the face of the organization within the community and plays a critical role in delivering on its promise of joyful and dignified living.
Core Responsibilities
  • Operations Management:
    Oversee daily functioning of all departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Guest Services, Maintenance, Security, Wellness, Garden) ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service quality.

  • Financial Control:
    Manage budgets, revenue, and expenses; ensure profitability through cost control, audits, and efficient F&B operations.

  • Team & HR Management:
    Handle recruitment, attendance, payroll coordination, and staff training to maintain a skilled and well-managed workforce.

  • Community Representation:
    Act as a bridge between residents and the organization, ensuring services align with company goals and resident expectations.

  • Compliance & Documentation:
    Ensure all legal, statutory, and operational requirements are met, with proper documentation and timely renewals.

  • Facilities & Maintenance:
    Maintain infrastructure and equipment through proactive servicing, vendor management, and regular updates.

  • Wellness & Activities:
    Plan and oversee wellness programs and activities, ensuring high standards in health, safety, and resident engagement.

  • Sustainability & Garden Management:
    Maintain green spaces and promote eco-friendly waste management practices.

  • Emergency Management:
    Be available for and lead response during emergencies, ensuring coordination across departments.

  • Resident Experience:
    Drive engagement initiatives, conduct feedback sessions, and enhance overall resident satisfaction and wellbeing.
