Position Summary
The Executive-Finance is responsible for supporting the Finance department in routine accounting and administrative tasks. This includes handling invoices, processing payments, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and good organizational skills to ensure smooth financial operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records by updating accounting ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documentation in a timely and error-free manner.
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable – process invoices, vendor bills, and payments while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts including bank statements, supplier/vendor accounts, and inter-company balances to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Ensure statutory compliance by assisting with GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and other applicable filings in coordination with auditors/consultants/corporate office Finance.
- Support financial reporting & closing activities – contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closings by preparing schedules, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Manage petty cash transactions with proper authorization, tracking, and documentation to maintain accountability.
- Assist in audits (internal and statutory) by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and coordinating with auditors.
- Contribute to MIS and management reporting by preparing basic financial analysis, expense reports, and dashboards as required.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the finance team for smooth functioning of day-to-day processes.
- Drive process efficiency by identifying gaps, suggesting improvements, and ensuring adherence to best practices in financial operations
